The Pistons officially unveiled their preseason schedule Wednesday.

The five-game slate includes three at home and finishes with two road games; the opener is against the Orlando Magic on Oct. 7 at Little Caesars Arena. The schedule opens with a condensed burst of three games in five nights, with the Mavericks (Oct. 9) and Cavaliers (Oct. 11) following the opener.

The preseason finishes with a surprising back-to-back — at Philadelphia and at Charlotte — before the regular season begins on Oct. 23.

Training camp likely will be at the Breslin Center at Michigan State University the week before the start of preseason.
