The Dolphins are looking for ways to get under the salary cap for 2016 and one of the options is restructuring Ndamukong Suh’s contract.

Suh, a defensive tackle who signed a six-year, $114 million contract after leaving the Lions as a free agent, carries a $28 million cap hit next season.

“By the time we get to the first day of the league year, we should have plenty of room to address the needs that we have, and certainly we’ll be looking at Suh’s contract,” Mike Tannenbaum, Dolphins vice president of football operations, said at the Senior Bowl.
