Panthers keys to victory
Josh Katzenstein of The Detroit News outlines the four things the Panthers will have to do in to defeat the Broncos.
The Panthers have looked incredibly loose all season. They need to play the same way Sunday despite the big stage.
Grind it out
Establishing the running game will create better opportunities in thir passing game. RB Jonathan Stewart averaged 76.1 yards during the regular season, fifth in the NFL, and a strong game would help immensely.
Getting open will be critical for the Panthers wide receivers. The Broncos secondary is one of the best in the NFL, so Ted Ginn Jr., Devin Funchess, Corey Brown and Jerricho Cotchery must create plays.
In your face
The Panthers need to remain aggressive, which has been a staple of coach Ron Rivera. They were the better team this year, so they should try to dictate what happens, whether taking a chance on fourth downs, blitzing or passing downfield.
