Seahawks rookie defensive lineman Malik McDowell was arrested for disorderly conduct early Sunday morning after getting into an argument at a night club outside Atlanta, according to reports in USA Today and TMZ Sports.

McDowell, a former Michigan State standout, has not played for the Seahawks this season after suffering a concussion in an offseason ATV accident and is on injured reserve.

At around 2:21 a.m. Sunday, McDowell got into a verbal altercation with an employee in front of SL Lounge in Chamblee, Ga., according to the report filed by the Chamblee Police Department.

McDowell later got into an argument with police officers, who struggled to subdue McDowell, according to the report.
