With training camp set to open in two weeks, the Lions will embark on a season they hope will lead to a second straight playoff appearance.

Defense was the backbone of the Lions' upward surge to an 11-5 record in 2014. But losing free agent Ndamukong Suh to the Dolphins and Nick Fairley to the Rams casts some doubt on whether the Lions can repeat their success.
