Allen Park — A couple players returned to practice Monday, but several remained out for the Lions.

Tight end Eric Ebron and defensive end Ezekiel Ansah observed practice after running with a trainer. When either player will return remains unknown, but coach Jim Caldwell indicated this week neither is a long-term issue.

Guard Larry Warford and defensive tackle Caraun Reid, who are both nursing high ankle sprains, are still out. Linebacker Kevin Snyder, who left Thursday's game with a hand injury, is still missing, too. Fellow linebacker Kyle Van Noy was a spectator as he continues to deal with a lingering ailment.

One addition to the practice report is cornerback Chris Owens, who was fully dressed but didn't participate in any drills during the 20 minutes of practice open to the media.

Two players returned to practice after sitting Sunday -- safety Isa Abdul-Quddus and cornerback Crezdon Butler.
