Josh Katzenstein, John Niyo and Bob Wojnowski of The Detroit News offer their predictions on the outcome of Thursday's Lions-Eagles game.
Josh Katzenstein: The Lions will try to win their third straight, and this could be the game where the offense finally feasts. As long as Matthew Stafford avoids turnovers, the Lions should give people in Detroit a reason to celebrate on Thanksgiving for the third year in a row. Lions 31-26
John Niyo: The Eagles are still in the NFC East race, but they're a mess right now, coming off an embarrassing effort against Tampa Bay. And with injuries compounding a short work and road trip for the Eagles, that's enough to give the Lions the edge. Lions 24, Eagles 20
Bob Wojnowski: The Eagles are a mess, and Chip Kelly's offense doesn't look so hot when he has to choose between Mark Sanchez and sore-shouldered Sam Bradford as his quarterback. The Eagles (4-6) will be desperate to stay in their division race, but the Lions are home in a festive atmosphere, and I like their chances to win their third straight. Pick: Lions 23-20
