Allen Park — Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson (ankle) returned to practice Friday after sitting Thursday, but another key offensive player joined Johnson on the injury report.

Lions tight end Eric Ebron

Tight end Eric Ebron was limited with an illness after being a full participant Thursday. With a few days before Monday’s game in New Orleans (8:30 p.m., ESPN), Ebron will likely recover, but losing him would be devastating after Brandon Pettigrew went on injured reserve this week.

Besides Ebron being limited and Johnson improving to limited, the rest of the practice report was the same Friday. Defensive tackle Haloti Ngata (neck), right tackle Michael Ola (knee) and safety Glover Quin (ankle) were limited for the second straight day.

Wide receiver Lance Moore (ankle) was a full participant once again, and he should return after missing the past two games.
