Lions' Ansah named second team All-Pro

The Detroit News

Lions defensive end Ziggy Ansah has named to the Associated Press second team All-Pro squad. No Lions made the first team.

Ziggy Ansah

Ansah, a third-year pro, ranked third in the NFL with 14.5 sacks this season. He also registered four forced fumbles, two recoveries to go along with 47 tackles and 15 for a loss.

One reason the 6-foot-5 standout didn't make first team All-Pro is the Raiders'  Khalil Mack locked down two spots — at defensive end and outside linebacker — on the top squad with support from the panel's 50 voting members.
