Former Lions general manager Martin Mayhew has a second interview for a front office-position this offseason.

Mayhew will interview for a position with the Cleveland Browns on Saturday.

The Browns fired GM Ray Farmer on Jan. 3, but after promoting Sashi Brown as executive vice president of football operations and hiring Paul DePodesta as chief strategy officer, it’s unclear what power Mayhew would have in Cleveland.

ESPN first reported the Browns’ interview with Mayhew, whom the Lions fired on Nov. 5.

Mayhew took over for Matt Millen as Lions interim GM in 2008 before taking over the post permanently in 2009. The Lions went 41-63 in his nearly seven seasons, including a 1-7 start in 2015 that led to his dismissal.

Mayhew also interviewed for the GM job with the Tennessee Titans this month, but they’ve zeroed in on Jon Robinson, the director of player personnel for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, according to multiple reports.
