NFL talent guru Daniel Jeremiah has Alabama defensive tackle A'Shawn Robinson going to the Lions with the No. 16 pick in his first mock draft.

"The Lions need to get better at this position, and Robinson has the tools to be a dominant three-down player," says Jeremiah, a former scout who works for the NFL Network.

Robinson was also the Lions' pick in the latest mock draft by Sports Illustrated's Chris Burke.

Robinson (6-4, 315) was a consensus All-American in 2015, with 43 tackles, 7.5 TFL, 10 quarterback hurries, two pass breakups, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery.

He totaled 22 TFL in three seasons at Alabama.

Jeremiah has the Colts picking Michigan State offensive tackle Jack Conklin at No. 18.

Interestingly, Jeremiah has North Dakota State QB Carson Wentz going to the Cowboys with the fourth pick.

His top five selections: 1. Ohio State DE Joey Bosa (Titans), 2. California QB Jared Goff (Browns), 3. Ole Miss OT Laremy Tunsil (Chargers), 4. Wentz, 5. Oregon DE DeForest Buckner (Jaguars).
