Mock draft has Lions taking Treadwell with first pick

Mississippi wide receiver Laquon Treadwell could be a Lions target in the upcoming NFL Draft.

Pete Prisco of CBSSports.com, in his first NFL mock draft, has the Lions selecting a replacement for Calvin Johnson, who has indicated he might retire.

Prisco has the Lions selecting Mississippi receiver Laquon Treadwell with the 16th pick of the first round. His reasoning? “They have Calvin Johnson retiring, so why not get a big-bodied receiver to replace him? They don't have much other than Golden Tate right now.”

Prisco also has Michigan State tackle Jack Conklin going to the Vikings with the 23rd pick.

His No. 1 pick is Treadwell’s teammate, offensive tackle Laremy Tunsil, who would enable the Titans to move former Michigan star Taylor Lewan to right tackle.
