Denver -- The Broncos and former Pro Bowl left tackle Russell Okung have agreed to terms on a five-year deal, a Denver team source confirmed.
Okung, 28, visited the Lions on Saturday and reportedly said afterward he was “high” on Detroit.
The sixth selection in the 2010 draft, Okung played his first six seasons in Seattle, earning Pro Bowl honors in 2012. He had been seeking $11 to $12 million a season.
Okung, who represented himself in negotiations, provides experience and the ability to handle elite pass rushers when healthy. He dislocated his left shoulder in Seattle's playoff loss at Carolina and isn't expected to be cleared for team workouts until late May or early June.
