Allen Park — Several Lions players took to social media to note the intensity of their leg exercises after Tuesday’s voluntary workouts, and safety Glover Quin explained that leg day is less glamorous than days when players work on their upper body because they don’t get to show off being extra buff.
So far, though, Quin said new strength and conditioning coach Harold Nash Jr. is implementing his regimen and the intensity is high, and Quin hopes hard work now pays off the rest of the year.
“I’ve always felt like working is the way to go, so I don’t shy away from it,” he said. “I feel like when you leave a workout at this time of the year, it probably should hurt. You probably should be sore and tired.”
