Lions open five camp practices to public

The first Lions training camp practice open to the public is Friday, July 29.

The Lions will open five of their training camp practices to the general public for free, according to the schedule below.

The first four open practices are at Lions headquarters at 222 Republic Drive in Allen Park. Space is limited at the Allen Park practices and fans must obtain a Flash Seats ticket from

The final Family Day open practice is at Ford Field.

* Friday, July 29, 3:30-5:30 p.m. – This is a ticketed practice at Allen Park, and fans must obtain their free tickets (two per person) from a Southeast Michigan Ford Dealer starting July 20.

* Monday, Aug. 1, 3:30-5:30 p.m., at Allen Park.

* Thursday, Aug. 4, 2-4 p.m., at Allen Park.

* Friday, Aug. 5, 3:30-5:30 p.m., at Allen Park.

* Saturday, Aug. 6, 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., at Ford Field – Lions Training Camp Family Day, gates open at 9:30 a.m. There is a scrimmage that begins at 10:30 and the new Lions cheerleaders and Roary will be on hand.
