Packers' Hail Mary vs. Lions wins ESPY

The Detroit News
Green Bay's Richard Rodgers celebrates with his teammates after catching Hail Mary pass in the end zone with no time left to win the game.

Aaron Rodgers' 61-yard Hail Mary pass to Richard Rodgers that lifted the Packers to a 27-23 victory over the Lions at Ford Field on Dec. 3 last year hauled in the Best Play Award at the ESPYs Wednesday night.

The miracle pass left Green Bay fans in jubilation and the Lions faithful stunned.

The play beat out Jalen Watts-Jackson's 38-yard return off a fumbled punt snap to give Michigan State a shocking come-from-behind 27-23 victory over Michigan, as well as the buzzer-beater by Villanova's Kris Jenkins in the NCAA championship game and LeBron James' Game 7 block.

The Packers, who once trailed 20-0, pulled off the feat with no time left after they were given another shot at the end zone when Devin Taylor was flagged for a questionable facemask penalty on the previous play.
