Allen Park – The Detroit Lions made a minor move at wide receiver on Monday, signing Alex Chisum and waiving Damian Copeland.

Chisum, undrafted out of the University of Cincinnati, caught 38 passes for 475 yards and one touchdown for the Bearcats last season.

The 6-foot-2 wideout, who missed the 2013 season with an ankle injury, ran a 4.53-second 40-yard dash at his pro day this offseason.

Copeland is out after re-signing with the Lions just six days ago.

Additionally, the Lions were without receivers Andre Caldwell and TJ Jones during Monday’s practice. Jones suffered an injury attempting to make a catch on an overthrown deep ball during Saturday’s mock game at Ford Field.
