Allen Park – The Detroit Lions made a roster move Wednesday, signing offensive lineman Lemuel Jeanpierre and waiving wide receiver Alex Chisum.

Jeanpierre is a five-year veteran who has spent his majority of his professional career with the Seattle Seahawks after going undrafted out of South Carolina in 2010. He has been active for 63 games and started 11 contests.

The 6-foot-3, 301-pound Jeanpierre is listed as a center, but has also worked as a guard, both in college and with the Seahawks.

To clear the roster space, the Lions waived Chisum, who had signed with the team earlier this month. He played 16 snaps in the preseason opener, but didn’t record a reception.
