Well, that’s not very good.

The Detroit Lions are ranked No. 27 in ESPN’s preseason NFL Power Rankings.

Only the Chargers, Rams, Titans, Browns and 49ers – pulling up the rear – rank below the Lions.

The ESPN voting panel is comprised of more than 80 writers, editors and TV personalities. Their top three teams are the Seahawks, Cardinals and Patriots.

ESPN: “The loss of Calvin Johnson is big, but the Lions might not be getting the benefit of the doubt here. They went 6-2 over the second half of 2015, and Matthew Stafford will have Golden Tate, Anquan Boldin and Marvin Jones to throw to in 2016.”

The Lions play their second preseason game against the Bengals Thursday at 7:30 p.m. against the Bengals.
