5 Lions, including Theo Riddick, ruled out vs. Washington

Lions running back Theo Riddick will miss Sunday's contest against Washington.

Allen Park — The Detroit Lions will be down five players, including four starters, for this Sunday’s game against Washington.

Linebacker DeAndre Levy (quad/knee), tight end Eric Ebron (knee/ankle), defensive tackle Haloti Ngata (shoulder) and running back Theo Riddick (ankle) are all out after not practicing this week. Backup offensive tackle Corey Robinson, who suffered an ankle injury Wednesday, has also been ruled out.

Additionally, four other Detroit starters -- defensive end Ziggy Ansah (ankle), linebacker Tahir Whitehead (abdomen), running back Dwayne Washington (ankle)) and guard Larry Warford (groin) -- are questionable. All four practiced in a limited capacity on Friday.

Washington’s injury report is noticeably shorter. Tight end Jordan Reed remains out of the lineup while dealing with a concussion. He’ll be replaced by former first-round pick Vernon Davis.The team also announced wide receiver DeSean Jackson is questionable with a shoulder injury.
