Lions inactives: Two starters scratched with injuries

Detroit -- DeAndre Levy's return will have to wait at least another week. The Detroit Lions have listed the veteran linebacker as inactive for Thursday's game against the Minnesota Vikings.
Levy wasn't the only starter scratched from the lineup. Defensive tackle Khyri Thornton, who had been limited by a foot injury, will sit. Also in street clothes for the contest are offensive tackle Cornelius Lucas, guard Joe Dahl, running back Justin Forsett , quarterback Jake Rudock and safety Don Carey.
Carey, one of Detroit's best special teams players, has been dealing with a hamstring injury he suffered last weekend against Jacksonville.
The Vikings are also missing key players for the Thanksgiving tilt. Wide receiver Stefon Diggs, defensive tackle Sharrif Floyd, return man Marcus Sherels and cornerback Terrance Newman are all out with injuries.
