Lions wide receiver Anquan Boldin pulls in his 1063rd reception, a touchdown in the second quarter, putting him 10th on the NFL Top 10 most reception of all time.

Detroit – Wide receiver Anquan Boldin moved into 10th place on the career receptions list in style with a diving, 16-yard touchdown grab at the end of the first half against the Chicago Bears, putting the Detroit Lions up, 10-3.

Boldin entered the day one catch behind Andre Johnson, who retired earlier this year. Boldin matched Johnson with a first-down catch on a third-and-10 earlier in the scoring drive.

The reception, the 1,062nd of Boldin’s 14-year career, was his team-leading seventh touchdown.

As long as he remains healthy, Boldin could climb a few more spots on the receptions list this season. Up next is Reggie Wayne, with 1,070 catches, Dallas Cowboys tight end Jason Witten at 1,072 and counting, and Terrell Owens with 1,078.
