Allen Park – The Detroit Lions were down four players, including three starters, during Wednesday’s practice.

Running back Theo Riddick (wrist) and center Travis Swanson (concussion) remained sidelined. Both players have missed the past two games. Also not practicing were cornerback Darius Slay (hamstring) and defensive tackle Khyri Thornton.

Slay came into last weekend’s tilt with the Giants nursing a hamstring injury and had to leave the game in the second quarter after aggravating the issue. He missed two games earlier this season because of the injury.
