Arlington, Texas — The Detroit Lions will attempt to topple the Dallas Cowboys with just two active running backs.

As expected, Theo Riddick is out with a wrist injury. Also not dressing is Joique Bell, a healthy scratch. That leaves the Lions with Zach Zenner and rookie Dwayne Washington to shoulder the load in the backfield.

Also inactive for the Lions are cornerback Darius Slay, center Travis Swanson, defensive tackle Khyri Thornton, quarterback Jake Rudock and offensive tackle Conelius Lucas.

Swanson had been ruled out earlier in week with a concussion. It’s the third straight game he’s missed. Slay was doubtful with a hamstring injury.

For Dallas, the team’s three questionable starters — wide receiver Dez Bryant, linebacker Sean Lee and offensive tackle Tyron Smith — are all active.
