The Spirit of Detroit has a touch of NFL playoff fever.
The iconic monument on Woodward Avenue donned a Lions playoff jersey on Wednesday as a sign of support for the playoff-bound Lions, who are preparing for Saturday's NFC wild-card game against the Seattle Seahawks at CenturyLink Field (8:15 p.m., NBC).
The bronze statue, which has sported Wings, Tigers and Pistons jerseys in the past, features a Honolulu blue jersey with the No. 1 numeral on the front and back.
The monument is located on the west end of the Coleman A. Young Municipal Complex in downtown Detroit.
