The Lions, with their last pick of the 2017 draft, selected Eastern Michigan defensive end Pat O'Connor. The 6-foot-4, 270-pounder missed the 2015 season with a shoulder injury. He made 166 tackles and had 20 sacks as an Eagle.

The draft's Mr. Irrelevant, the final player chosen, was Mississippi quarterback Chad Kelly -- who went to the Denver Broncos.

WMU's Adams to Steelers at 248

Western Michigan defensive end Keion Adams was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the seventh round (248th overall). The 6-foot-2, 245-pounder had 126 tackles and 14.5 sacks in four seasons with the Broncos.

Lions take Miami QB Kaaya at 215

With the 215th overall pick, and their second of the sixth round, the Lions added to their quarterback depth with Miami (Fla.) signal-caller Brad Kaaya.

The 6-foot-4, 215-pound quarterback was 720-of-1188 for 9,968 yards, 69 touchdowns and 24 interceptions in three seasons with the Hurricanes.

Notably, Kaaya's mother, Angela Means Kaaya, was in the movie "Friday" and is the original source of the popular phrase, "Bye Felicia."

Lions take Arkansas DE in 6th round

The Lions selected Arkansas defensive end Jeremiah Ledbetter with the 205th overall pick. He had 104 tackles and 7.5 sacks in two seasons with the Razorbacks, after transferring from Hutchison Junior College in Kansas.

Michigan CB Clark to Jets at 197

Michigan cornerback Jeremy Clark was drafted by the New York Jets with the 197th overall pick. Clark, who missed nine games with an ACL injury, made 50 tackles in 23 games over three seasons with the Wolverines.

Michigan's 11 draftees (and counting) is a school record for a single year.

Seahawks draft Mike Tyson in 6th round

The Seattle Seahawks, with the 187th overall pick, took safety Mike Tyson -- no relation to the boxing legend -- from Cincinnati. It's also unclear if he's as hard a hitter on defense as his namesake.

The Lions pick 21st in the round, 205th overall.

Fifth round winding down

The fifth round is down to its last few picks. Barring any trades, the Lions will pick 21st in the sixth round (205th overall).

Lions grab U. of San Diego CB Agnew in 5th

The Lions selected University of San Diego cornerback Jamal Agnew with the 165th overall pick. The 5-foot-10, 185-pound defensive back played in 17 games for the Toreros and had five interceptions. He also returned 17 punts for 216 yards and a touchdown.

Butt to Broncos to start Round 5

The debate and speculation is over. Jake Butt is a Denver Bronco.

With the first pick of the fifth round, Denver selected the former Michigan tight end who twice tore ACLs in three years.

Butt caught 136 passes for 1,646 yards and 11 touchdowns in 53 games with the Wolverines.

UM's Glasgow to Bengals at 138, Chesson to Chiefs at 139

Michigan defensive tackle Ryan Glasgow was drafted by the Cincinnati Bengals with the 138th overall pick. The 6-foot-3, 302-pounder had 77 tackles and four sacks in 30 games with the Wolverines. The next pick went to Kansas City, who took UM receiver Jehu Chesson. Chesson had 114 catches for 1,639 yards and 12 touchdowns as a Wolverine.

UM, with nine players selected so far, ties a school record set in 1975 for players drafted in a single season.

Lions select Toledo TE Roberts with 127th pick

With the 127th overall pick, the Lions selected Toledo tight end Michael Roberts. He had 45 catches for 533 yards and 16 touchdowns last season. For his career, Roberts pulled down 70 catches for 832 yards and 22 scores.

Jalen Reeves-Maybin

Lions take Tennessee LB Reeves-Maybin at 124

The Lions selected Tennessee linebacker Jalen Reeves-Maybin with the 124th overall pick. Reeves-Maybin is 6-feet tall and weighs 230 pounds and made 240 tackles and had eight sacks in 39 games with the Volunteers.

MSU's Nicholson to Skins

Michigan State safety Montae Nicholson went to the Washington Redskins with pick No. 123. Nicholson, a 6-foot-2, 212-pounder joins ex-Spartan quarterback Kirk Cousins in the nation's capital.

Ex-Wolverine Gedeon to Vikings at 120

Michigan linebacker Ben Gedeon was drafted by the Minnesota Vikings with the 120th overall pick. The 6-foot-1, 244-pounder had 164 tackles and 20.5 sacks in 40 career games.

Washington takes Sooner RB Perine in 4th

The Washington Redskins took Oklahoma running back Samaje Perine with the 114th overall pick. The 5-foot-11, 233-pounder ran a 4.65-second 40-yard dash at the combine.

Jags take Oklahoma WR Westbrook in Round 4

The Jacksonville Jaguars drafted Oklahoma wide receiver DeDe Westbrook with their first pick of the fourth round -- 110th overall. Westbrook had off the field issues with the Sooners, reportedly being arrested for more than one instance of domestic violence.
