Allen Park — The Lions were missing seven players at Wednesday’s practice, while an additional five starters were limited.

Not practicing were offensive tackle Rick Wagner (ankle/shoulder), guard T.J. Lang (back), defensive tackle Haloti Ngata (shoulder), wide receiver Kenny Golladay (hamstring), running back Dwayne Washington (quad) and linebackers Paul Worrilow (knee) and Steve Longa (personal).

Running back Ameer Abdullah (ankle), defensive end Ziggy Ansah (knee), linebacker Jarrad Davis (neck), safety Glover Quin (groin), linebacker Tahir Whitehead (pectoral) and center Travis Swanson were limited.

Wagner didn’t miss a snap against the Vikings Sunday, but walked with a noticeable limp when exiting the locker room after the game. Worrilow left in the first quarter with a knee injury. Multiple reports have stated he sprained his MCL and will be out of the lineup 2-4 weeks. Longa, meanwhile, is away from the team tending to matters relating to the death of his father last week.
