Allen Park — The Detroit Lions got some good news on Wednesday with guard T.J. Lang returning to the practice field.

Lang missed all of last week, including Sunday's game against the 49ers, with a back injury he suffered in the closing minutes of the team's season-opening loss to the New York Jets

Detroit Lions guard T.J. Lang (76) returned to practice Wednesday.

Lang was replaced in the starting lineup by Kenny Wiggins.

More: Lions re-sign cornerback DeShawn Shead

Also practicing for the Lions were defensive end Ziggy Ansah and running back Theo Riddick. Ansah missed Sunday's game after being limited in practice all of last week with a shoulder injury. Riddick twisted his ankle in the second half against the 49ers, although he was able to return and finish the contest.

The only players not practicing for the Lions were cornerback Darius Slay and offensive tackle Andrew Donnel. Slay suffered a concussion against the 49ers when he collided helmet-to-helmet with fullback Kyle Juszczyk.
