Allen Park — Detroit Lions rookie guard Frank Ragnow unexpectedly popped up on the practice report on Thursday.

He was on the field for the portion open to the media, but was listed as limited on the afternoon report, suggesting he suffered an injury during the session.

The extent of the injury was not immediately known. Ragnow was not in the locker room after practice, and Lions coach Matt Patricia does not speak to the media on Thursdays.

A first-round draft pick out of Arkansas, Ragnow has started the first three games at left guard. After some struggles the first two weeks, he is coming off his best performance, last week against New England. He was responsible for several key run blocks that helped fuel running back Kerryon Johnson’s 101-yard performance.

If Ragnow’s injury sidelines him for this Sunday's game against Dallas, it’s likely Kenny Wiggins would replace him in the starting lineup. Wiggins filled in for right guard T.J. Lang in Week 2.

In addition to Ragnow, defensive end Ziggy Ansah (shoulder) and tight end Michael Roberts (knee) remained out a second straight day.
