Detroit – One more free agent to be signed.

That is all that's left for general manager Ken Holland after the Red Wings signed restricted free agent Teemu Pulkkinen to a one-year contract Tuesday worth $735,000.

Pulkkinen, 23, scored eight points (five goals, three assists) in 31 games with the Red Wings.

In Grand Rapids, Pulkkinen led the American League in goals scored with 34, despite playing only 46 games with the Griffins. Pulkkinen added 27 assists for 61 points.

Pulkkinen led the AHL with 14 playoff goals helping the Griffins reach the Western Conference finals.

The 2010 fourth-round draft pick is out of minor league options and will start the season with the Red Wings.

With Pulkkinen signed, the only remaining restricted free agent to be signed is Tomas Jurco.
