Wings’ odds to win Stanley Cup get longer

The Detroit News
The Red Wings have won three straight and host the Blackhawks on Wednesday night.

The Red Wings’ odds of winning the Stanley Cup have gotten longer since the passing of the NHL trade deadline on Monday.

The Wings made one move ahead of the deadline, sending defenseman Jakub Kindl to the Panthers for a 2017 sixth-round draft pick.

Bovada gave the Wings 20-1 odds at the start of February, but in new odds released Tuesday, the Wings are 25-1.

The Wings have won three consecutive games and have 75 points, three behind the Panthers and Lightning (78 each) in the Atlantic Division.

The Capitals are the favorites at 9-2, followed by the Blackhawks (5-1) and Stars (10-1).
