Red Wings’ odds to win Cup are 18-1

The Red Wings’ odds to win the Stanley Cup in 2017, according to Bovada, are 18-1 – perhaps better than you might have thought.

Nine other teams have better odds, led by the 8-1 Penguins, who won the Stanley Cup on Sunday night.

Three teams share the Wings’ odds of 18-1 – the Wild, Predators and Rangers.

The Wings were 41-30-11 this season and finished tied for third in the Atlantic Division with 93 points. They lost to the Lightning in the first round of the playoffs in five games.
