Oh, Cut. It. Out.

Actor and comedian Dave Coulier, quite known for his impressions, took on a local celebrity Thursday night.

During Fox Sports Detroit’s pregame show for the Red Wings game out in Arizona, Coulier delivered a spot-on impersonation of John Keating — most notably, Keating’s long pauses between words.

Coulier, a St. Clair Shores native and avid Detroit sports and hockey fan, drew smiles and laughs from Keating in the split-screen segment in Glendale, Ariz.

“I love John Keating, as we all do, but nobody can hang on a word quite like our own John Keating,” Coulier said, before going right into his act.

“The Red Wings ... find themselves ... in a bit of a .... quandary ... which ... for all intents and ... purposes ... is very ... un-Red Wing-like.”

And it went on from there.

No surprise, Keating’s response was a gem, too.

“I don’t have enough words, so I pause between them. I really got nothing much to say,” he said. “And so I kind of drag it out, because we have to fill a half-hour show.

“That’s a career highlight for me.”

Coulier, 57, starred in “Full House” from the late 1980s until the mid-1990s and has appeared on the show’s reboot, “Fuller House.”
