Michigan Bucks stun Indy Eleven in U.S. Open Cup

Francis Atuahene's goal in the 36th minute held up as the Premier Development League Michigan Bucks upset the North American Soccer League Indy Eleven, 1-0, Wednesday in the U.S. Open Cup at Ultimate Soccer Arenas.

Bucks goalie Drew Shepherd earned his third consecutive shutout in a 1-0 victory over the Indy Eleven Wednesday.

The Bucks (3-0) advance to the third round May 31 against a yet-to-be determined opponent in the single-elimination tournament.

Atuanhere, who plays at the University of Michigan, was set up by midfielder Jordon Snell on the game-winning goal.

Drew Shepherd (Ann Arbor/Western Michigan) was in goal, earning his third consecutive shutout.
